FEBRUARY 2010

Dear Local 75 Members:

Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, members of Plumbers Local 75 are required to take four hours of Partners in Safety training each calendar year.  To kick off the 2010 Spring Sessions, a four-hour class on Job Hazards – Mold, Asbestos, Sewage and Lead will be the topics of instruction.

Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.  You will be notified only if the class you have chosen is full.  If you wish, you may list your first preference date and several alternatives.  If you are assigned to an alternative class date, you will be notified.

In case of inclement weather, Partners In Safety sessions will be canceled if MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) cancels their classes.  Tune to any local radio or television station for this information.

If you sign up for a session and will not be able to attend, please call the union hall and let us know as soon as possible.  We will schedule someone else to take your place for that session.

Exemption:  Retirees, State, County, School Board Workers, and Members working for contractors signatory to the Madison Addendum of the Labor Agreement are all exempt from this requirement, as well as all first and second year apprentices.
